Dubai Taxi Company Celebrates the Spirit of Ramadan with a Series of Initiatives for Drivers

Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) is marking the holy month of Ramadan by rolling out a range of initiatives to support and appreciate its drivers. These initiatives, in collaboration with esteemed partners such as Beit Al Khair, Red Crescent, and Dubai Holding, aim to foster a sense of community, well-being, and gratitude among drivers during this special time of the year.

Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) is marking the holy month of Ramadan by rolling out a range of initiatives to support and appreciate its drivers. These initiatives, in collaboration with esteemed partners such as Beit Al Khair, Red Crescent, and Dubai Holding, aim to foster a sense of community, well-being, and gratitude among drivers during this special time of the year.

As part of the Ramadan initiatives, Beit Al Khair and Red Crescent are providing 2,900 iftar meals daily. With the support of additional partners, the initiative has successfully reached a milestone of around 100,000 meals.

In addition to meal distribution, Dubai Taxi Company has organized a variety of sports tournaments, including cricket and volleyball, encouraging drivers to engage in recreational activities that promote teamwork, fitness, and relaxation.

Zayed Humanitarian Workday

As part of Zayed Humanitarian Workday, observed on the 19th of Ramadan each year to commemorate the passing of the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Dubai Holding, in association with DTC, hosted the "Gift it Forward" initiative on the 19th and 20th of Ramadan. This special event, designed for 2,400 drivers and female bus supervisors and their families, featured an interactive marketplace where individuals can curate the gifts based on their needs offering a memorable and engaging experience for all participants.

These efforts also align with the UAE leadership’s vision in declaring 2025 as ‘The Year of Community. We are grateful to our partners for their initiatives in making this Ramadan memorable’”
