RTA’s Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has marked the onset of the Holy Month of Ramadan with typical Ramadan Tent events as part of its efforts to engage employees and drivers in the enlightening atmosphere of the Month. Such events will also enhance the communication, break the daily work routines, and assist employees’ integration in the social, cultural and religious setting. The move is part of the motivational initiatives run by DTC to bring more happiness and satisfaction to employees.
Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Ali, CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation, said, “Ramadan Tent events include hosting a daily mass Iftar for cabbies, a full package of recreational events including sports events such as football and volleyball, as well as daily cultural quizzes carrying instant rewards. The lineup of events also includes contests for memorising and reciting the Holy Quran for which valuable cash prizes are offered to winners in addition to religious lectures delivered by renowned Islamic preachers. Events also include a mass Iftar served for employees on shift and DTC leaders.”
“Staging these Ramadan events reflects DTC’s keenness to realise drivers’ satisfaction and happiness, and enhances its social responsibility towards employees to instil the moral values of the blessed month of Ramadan. DTC believes that whatever gives pleasure and satisfaction to drivers would have a positive bearing on their performance to serve the public, DTC’s customers, taxi users and recipients of services,” concluded the CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation
