The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) atthe Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched,at its headquarters in Muhaisna, a medical clinic in cooperation with Life Line Co., rendering it the first government clinic dedicated to drivers in the Emirate. The facility offers medical advice and preventive medical caretocab drivers at par with the highest healthcare standards.

The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has held its annual gathering with strategic partners, suppliers and sponsors including representatives of public and private entities. The event, which was held in Intercontinental Dubai Festival City Hotel, was aimed to show appreciation of the effective efforts of all partners in bringing success to the DTC.

HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has launched the trial run of the first electric hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle, Toyota Mirai, as part of the Dubai Taxi Fleet, in collaboration with Al Futtaim Motors.

The Roads and Transports Authority (RTA) has launched the ‘Health & Safety Week’ events at the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) at Al Muhaisinaunder the theme ‘Health & Safety is a Workstyle’ as part of its annual plans of raising the health &safety of employers and drivers. The event also echoes DTC’squest for promotingthe health and physical education as a means of improving the business performance of all employees of the DTC.

The Dubai Taxi Corporation at the Roads and Transports Authority (RTA) has launched the "Digital Hackathon" competition to attract talented university studentsspecialised in IT programming. The selected students will participate in programmers’competition to take advantage of their creative initiatives, programs, and ideaswith the aim of enhancing the intelligent transport system.

The Board of Executive Directors of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), chaired by HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of The Board of Executive Directors of RTA has endorsed a contract for procuring 554 environment-friendly hybrid vehicles. These vehicles, which are fitted with a combination of fuel engine and electric motors, currently constitute.

RTA’s Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC)has dispatched 75 cab-drivers in 3 batches to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative is part of DTC’s objectives to maximise the satisfaction of taxi-drivers, nurture a positive working environment, and up the level of services rendered to taxi users in Dubai.

RTA’s Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC)has marked the onset of the Holy Month of Ramadan with typical Ramadan Tent events as part of its efforts to engage employees and drivers in the enlightening atmosphere of the Month. Such events will also enhance the communication, break the daily work routines.
